Desert Nights, Rising Stars (DNRS) Conference

The DNRS conference features over 50 craft talks, workshops, panels, and readings. The 2023 Keynote Speaker is internationally renowned poet Joy Harjo who served three terms at the 23rd Poet Laureate of the United States.

Speaker Spotlight: Matt Bell, author of the novel APPLESEED (a New York Times Notable Book), has launched a Worldbuilding Initiative that focuses across humanities disciplines on imaginative writing that engages in worldbuilding or conceiving of different and alternate worlds and futures.
